What is a Collaboration Board?

Collaboration Board is an infinite canvas that helps organizations and teams brainstorm ideas, strategize, and get organized on OKRs by collaborating in real-time or asynchronously.

Here are some highlights of what you can do with collaboration boards:

⏩ Publish OKRs directly from the collaboration board

Who can benefit from Collaboration Boards?

OKR Champions who spearhead the OKR planning, retrospectives process can easily set the context and facilitate OKR coaching and planning workshops.

Department heads/ Team Managers can use collaboration boards to bring their teams together, brainstorm, and plan OKRs. This creates transparency and creates alignment between teams early on.

Individuals can use collaboration boards to share ideas during planning, express opinions during retrospective meetings, and make sure they’re informed about decisions right from the start.

Accessing a collaboration board

Collaboration boards can be created across all levels (organization, team, and individual).

To create a collaboration board,

  1. Click on the entity (organization, team, individual) from the side navigation bar and go to the ‘Collaboration Boards’ tab.

  2. Click on ‘+ New Board’ to create a new board.


  • All org admins will be able to create collaboration boards at the organization and team level.

  • Team Owners and Team Managers can create collaboration boards for the teams they’re managing.

  • Once a collab board is created at the organization/team level, the board will be shared by default with all other org admins. Individual users will be able to view an organization or team-level collaboration board only if it's shared with them.

  • To view all the collaboration boards you’ve created and the boards that have been shared with you, navigate to ‘My OKRs’ in the side navigation bar and go to the ‘Collaboration Boards’ tab. You’ll see a list of all the boards that you’ve created and boards shared with you.
