Ally lets you import multiple teams and users, all at once. You can configure the team structure and the user hierarchy according to your organisation. Here's how you can have your users and teams bulk imported in Ally.

The Teams Import template for this configuration has a total of 4 columns which will be used to input the team details into Ally. Below are the columns to be filled and the expected data:

  1. Team Name: The name of the team goes here.

  2. Owner Email: Enter the email id of the team owner.

  3. Parent Team: Enter the name of the parent team here.

  4. Team Type: Mention the team type, whether it is a ‘Department’ or a ‘Sub-Department’ here.

The Users Import template for this configuration has a total of 7 columns which will be used to input the team details into Ally. Below are the columns to be filled and the expected data:

  1. User Name: The full name of the user goes here

  2. User Email: Enter the email id of the user to be associated with Ally.

  3. Teams: Enter the name of the team that the user belongs here.

  4. Manager: Mention the name of the manager here.

  5. Manager Email: The email address of the manager here.

  6. User Account Type: Mention the user type, whether ‘Observer’ or ‘Regular’

  7. Is Org Admin: Whether or not the user should be given admin access to the Ally instance - ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.
